Patagonia is the southernmost region of Argentina where grapes are grown. It covers the provinces of Río Negro, Neuquén and La Pampa, and has 4 600 hectares of vineyards. It has the added prestige of being the world’s southernmost winegrowing region.
Fabre Montmayou Vineyard Patagonia

Winters are harsh and summers cool, particularly at night, which allows us to obtain harmonic combinations of acidity and sweetness and abundant aromas.

Among the virtues of the region may be mentioned the slow, protracted ripening of the grapes. Our vineyards stand at 220 m. above sea level.

All these features lend Patagonian wines refined flavours, unequalled aromatic intensity and a unique personality that reflect the purity of the environment.

Our winery is located in General Roca, Rio Negro Valley in Patagonia at 39º latitude South, the most southerly vine growing region of America.
